Alas, the 4th of July is here and its time to celebrate! For me, Independence Day is one of my favorites – the warm weather, delicious food hot off the grill and all my friends gathered to watch fireworks.
So wether you find yourself hosting your own 4th of July soiree or a guest at a friends celebration I have gathered some menu and decor ideas especially for you.
This is a collection of some rustic grill-worthy classics.

I’m a huge fan of crab cakes and they are taken to the next level as a slider.
Bacon makes everything better. These baked beans are amazing!

Burrata in a Jar
I came up with my own version – creamy and light. A total party pleaser.
Cheddar Baked Potato & Bacon Salad
Again, bacon…it makes everything better.
Ground Bacon Burger with Smoked Gouda & Spicy Aioli
Not bacon on but bacon IN! The smoked gouda and aioli takes this burger to the next level!
One word. Incredible.
Sometimes you need a little bit of sophistication.
Slow Roasted Herb Salmon
Slow roasting prevents the oils in the fish from running out during the cooking process leaving an amazingly moist and flavorful piece of salmon.
Grilled Zucchini & Summer Squash Ribbons
How cute are these! Your guests will think you are amazing.
A little recipe I brought back from my trip to Mykonos, Greece.
Charcuterie & Cheese Platter
I mean, who doesn’t like cured meats and cheese?!
Lemon Custard Cakes
An interesting blend of cake and custard, oven magic!
I came back from Europe and did this amazing 4th of July shoot with my buddies Amy and Kiira – they are amazing, you should check them out (and hire them)! Great ideas for your party!
Have a very happy and safe 4th of July!
