I’m a lucky girl.

For many reasons but specifically because I have had the opportunity to work with a beautiful, talented and like-minded photographer Amy Stone on several projects recently. It all started in June 2010 with my sister’s wedding and then event after event our paths kept crossing. Picture after picture, I am constantly blown away by her talent. She has an eye for the details.

Amy takes whatever I create and makes it 1000% better. I have to say there is nothing more fun that getting to do creative projects with a good friend who happens to be uber talented.

So with that all said, the inspiration for this table setting is winter minimal. We were aiming for a mix of rustic elements with clean lines. The dark wood table and mercury glass juxtaposed against cylindrical stem wear and modern Lucite chairs give the look a feeling of modern yet slightly undone. We chose a deep blue to give the overall look a luxurious feel plus, it offers great contrast against all of the silver and white. We chose white flowers, such as China Mums to keep the shape simple yet elegant – you could easily substitute any other white flower. Our goal was to keep the details clean, minimal and classy but most of all, we wanted our look to be easy to recreate.

I wanted to share a few of Amy’s shots with you. For more of these photos, visit Amy’s blog.
